I take a 2 liter pepsi bottle, cut the bottom off, and turn it upside down. Then a make a hole in the bottom (now the top) and place the bottom back on as a cover to keep dust out and evporation to a minimum, and run an airline down to the cap.

I use regular tap water with sea salt from the grocery store.

There's more than one way to do a hatchery but I have found Kwek Leong's hatchery to be one of the better ones. I made a slight variation on mine and it works perfectly. Start off with 1 hatchery going on first, then start on the 2nd hatchery 8 hours or more after the 1st hatchery has started. That way you will ensure that you have a steady stream of hatched BBS for the hungry fry.

Note however that with each hatch, depending on the amount of eggs used and salt mixture used, there might be more than enough BBS to feed your fry over the entire day. 18 - 22 hours is a rough period of time before the BBS are fully hatched.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable
    Back to Killies... slowly.
