    you can buy the ones from Taiwan...it already comes in a mesh bag..cant remember the name of the brand though..like mr. aqua or soemthing like that...but the boxes are really nice..and it doesnt seem like slipshot work to me

    I used peat moss in one of my tanks. It does bring the PH down, but also discolour the water, and it floats. Thomas if you want to put into your gravel, you can wrap them up with fine wire netting with some stones, then insert into the gravel (provided there is bare surfaces for you to do that). If not, you can put it in your canister filter by wrapping it up with fine netting (er... I used an old stocking for that purpose).

    Netting it sure will be now... Just wodnering whether I should place it in the filter (which I hate to disturb) or to place it in the tank directly and removing if guests were to see it etc...

    You can use those small white bags you saw at C328 to put the peat moss in and then tuck the bags at the back of the tank, and hide it with the plnats... So guests wouldn't notice it...
