either you feed enough for some food to drop down, or you can have 2 areas where you feed
ie, one part where you drop the food, and while the tetras go for it, you can drop the other part somewhere more secluded and let it drop
I've many cadinal and red nose tetras together with some bottom feeders like Apisto. I wonder, is there any better way to feed all fishes without overfeeding? Those tetras were simply too fast to eat all food before the Apisto. Any trick to get the job done?

for floating feeds like tetra bits, i mix them in a
cup of water, stir a bit then pour the whole lot in.
i do the same for frozen blood worms. defreeze in
cup then pour in. if left floating, bottom feeders
and slower fishes will never get to eat.
