Alas, I have sad news. It appears one of my 3 female Kribs was murdered and her body was stuffed in a shallow grave inside a cave. Her remains were buried at sea/septic tank. The male is the prime suspect as he is now showing a lot of aggression to one of the other two females. I think he is a serial killer .... Jack the Nipper. Is this normal or am I going to be buying (and perhaps burying) more female Kribensis?

hi bart, i wouldn't say its normal but it happens, they usually have a reason for killing like the female wasn't ready to breed, did you get the females after the male? are the other females alright together?, or is he just bad to all the females?, usually they are fine together.

There are two left. One is extremely young and he leaves her alone. He does show agression towards the other female though.

Hmm... is there enough hiding space for your fishes. At least some decorations to break the line of sight in the tank between the male and female sometimes. Might help.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
