    Hi,

Anyone knows the difference between "Jebo" and "Jebao" (asides from the spelling, of course). I thought it was some OEM issue, but was told that they are two entirely different companies.

Anyway, could only find the website for Jebao, so I brought the seemingly more "credible" brand.

Well.. I had a Jebo light explode on me once... So maybe you made the better choice. Though I'm more of an Atman and Dymax kinda guy. heh

Having a website does not mean that one company is more credible than the other.

I think both brands are low cost start up options for a lot of hobbyists. The return of investment on the set over a longer period may not be so good, when you factor in reliability, durability, and the possibility to service/repair.

Have said that, they have really small hang on filters that I find very attractive.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

true on the website part. juz relying it as some superficial indicator. so far, my jebao canister filter working fine for the past 6 mths.

anyway, recently set up a planted tank in the office. considering the Atman canister filter unless i can collect more office fund. budget, budget, budget.

    Jebo /Jebao

Essentially originated from the same camp, hence the similar name. Both products have similar features.

    Cheers
