I got K2SO4 from this guy who sell hydroponics stuff. Comes in powder form.

Call them first to check if he has the stock just before you go down. I waited about 45mins just for the guy to search and pack the K2SO4. It is a small koisk who is helping this Dr. Mallick guy to retail hydroponics stuff.

I remembered he had KNO3 too, but not too sure about KCl.

NTUC sells "Lo-Salt" which is 66% KCL and 33% NaCl. Can consider using that too.

I had been using Lo-Salt for about a year. The NaCl part seems harmless to the tank. Recently I switched to K2SO4 from Dr Mallick. It has more K by weight.

thanks guys, anyway i need KCL to rinse the probe of my ph controller. any idea if K2SO4 is suitable.

Maybe you can try lab chemical supplier. I have one contact but have not actually bought any chemical from them.

You can use diluted HCL (1%) to rinse your Ph electrode.
