    XnS dVd - 4
    rtcc86 -2
    d0t- 1

    So essentially we've got:

    xnsdvd - 4
    Weirong - 2
    rtcc86 - 2
    d0t - 1

Which comes up to 9... Hmm... I'll ask the tank maker and get back to y'all

    Ok guys,

I'm asking my tank maker tomorrow on the 1ft cubes. So who wants black silicon?
Please post here so I can check tomorrow morning and make an enquiry. Thanks.

Ok, here's what my tank maker quoted me:

    1ft cube tank (6mm glass) -----$20

Black or white silicon all the same, which is quite expensive for me even though I know that his workmanship is quite good. I can't do much bargaining with them unless we have a bigger order.

However, he did show me an imported tank, 30cm (L) x 20cm (B) x 23cm (H), 5mm glass with polished edges for $12. Of cos it's not a cube tank but it sure is cheap...

In any case, it looks like I can't bargain with my tankmaker unless we get a bigger order. Anyone who wants a 1ft cube tank can post here, then I can see if there's enough demand.
Well, Shannon's side has no answers yet. Or does any one else has lobang?

I really don't know. I told them that it's for 9 tanks but it didn't seem to interest them one bit. Do you think doing a mass order for AQ is feasible? Perhaps imprint AQ on the glass???

ahhh... now you're talking. it should be done as a silkscreen with acid etching to give a frosted look. distinct yet discrete ala ADA tank. i can just picture it now... sweeeet

on the practical side the logistics of such bulky items will probably be a pain too.

just thinking aloud. maybe AQ can start its own aquascaping competition on fix tank size standard - nano size. so the frosted effect will be brought out by the darker coloured gravel to showcase AQ in all pictures taken. hmmm...

i hope the moderators can make this a sticky so that we can take mass orders and order it cheaply...

AQ is quite marketable and I like the idea of AQ's aquascaping competition! But who comes up with prizes???

But for now, let's try to see if there's enough response for the cube tank!
