When I first joined, I'm a junior or member? I didn't take much notice...![]()
Then, I look see look see and realise that besides AQ Moderator who comes with his/her title tag, the rest of us are members/veterans/(self designed slogan). Who can change this member status and add in the self designed slogan?![]()
Next, I'm a one-leafer now!!! *hip hip hooray* ... how to grow more leaves huh?![]()

The correct place to look for the information is here..

I'm shifting this to forum helpdesk and feedback.

Thank you! I'm enlightened! But who determins the number of leaves? ... duh...
Good question. I never really thought about it.Originally Posted by jacquetlc

Haha... The number of leaves indicate the number of posts you had.Post more and you grow more leaves.
Leaves turn red when you hit 1000 postings.

Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
Hmm... not convinced!!!*Stamped feet* *evil glare*
Let's do some simple arithmetic here...
Rtcc86 (no more saltwater tank for me) joined Jan 2006, 3 leaves with 55 posts. This is equivalent to 1 leaf = 18.4 posts.
So, why Lwm999 (regular) joined may 2005, also has 3 leaves with 78 posts and Grey_fox (metal gear solid), joined Jan 2006 also has 3 leaves with a high post rate of 191 posts.
See?!?!![]()

Geez... this sounds like some unsolved mathematical problems that will take 3 pages of proving... yicks!![]()
Anyway, whats BBA? Babies Borned in Aquarium?
Rtcc86 joined during daylight hours and his leaves grow faster. Also, there was a happy hour promotion then.
Cheers,

The number of leaves is exponential... This is the case for most forum settings... The first few levels are easy to attain... And then slowly it gets more and more difficult... Some forum software alots the system admin to set the steps and also to change the names automatically... I am not sure if vBulletin have this feature...
But it can be a hassle to set all this, cos need to think of names to put for each level...
Benny, thatz a good answer!
Btw, whatz BBA --> Babies Borned in Aquarium?
I just posted a sticky to explain the leaves and custom user titles... see this thread.
Maybe we should add a new leaf for suspended members... a yellowed leave infested with BBA.
Jacquetic, BBA is Black Beard Algae.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
vinz, cool... maybe auto play sound... like a sharp whistle when that member with yellow leave tries to log in... :P
thanks for the thread (link) ... now everything clear liow... heh heh heh... let me try to 'find bone in egg' when i'm bored at work again... ;p

Pffft... my post rate has dropped significantly in the last year. So far behind Simon now, who is leading with 8,000+ posts. I'm only a far second.Originally Posted by Fei Miao

Well, if we can get a talented artist, we could perhaps start people as a plantlet with few leaves that grows more and larger leaves and eventually flowers. An Echinodorus will be a nice cadidate. Or a creeping plant... like an Anubias due to the vertical format.Originally Posted by rtcc86

Controlling, controlling... Luckily, this does not add to the post count!![]()
