i thik the amount will be very very little..
Hi guys,
Need some advice on how much potassium are there in the KH2PO4? the calculator in chuck's website only shows the PO4 but not potassium.
I typically mixed 100grams of KH2PO4 to a 500ml of water. Each dosage is 10ml of the mixture, which equal to ~1.7ppm of PO4. But I will like to also know how much of potassium am I adding too.
Thanks

Chemically speaking, for every phosphate ion (PO4-), there will be 1 potassium ion (K+) in this chemical.

I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted!), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted!
), C.tonkinensis(Melted!
), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
well..thats what i mean..in comparison to the 20 or 30ppm of k you're dosing...1.7 would be ntohing..
Ic. Thanks for the clarification.

You can go to Aquatic Plant Central website and use their Fertilatator will show.
But APC's version dun show the amount after mixed in water. Is it proportional?Originally Posted by spinex

It should be. You can verify by comparing the NO3 which you have generated off the Chuck Calculator. If almost similar u can be quite sure the K is also correct.Originally Posted by solonavi
