A.Miua. most likely can't be mendezi , it's too late to grow the lyretail now..
Cheers!
Benetay

Apart from the tail.. what other features we could look out for to differentiate between the two?
the tail is a tell tale sign for the difference. it's very obvious once you look at the tail as mendezi don't really have round tail.
a picture for compare.
Lyretail, long ventral, more robust body, quite similar but one look we know that the Miua is different from Mendezi.
Cheers!

whether it is miua or mendezi. It is still a prize asset to it keepers.
Kray if i'm not wrong, the marking on the caudal for mendezi is diffenert from miua...
Mendezi from different locality do have such marking...
vertical markings and horizonal markings. So its pretty difficult to tell with their marking.
Cheers!
Benetay
Bottomline, lyrate caudal tail is confirm Mendezi.
Miua has round caudal tail, in this case, its a blue form Miua.
