Fuana: Not yet, but deciding on small rasboras (merahs maybe) and cherry shrimps, well something red anyway since it's all green and grey now.

How many rasboras do you think it can support?

    Hi there,

I was searching around for information on nano tanks, and also for the office (my table actually)

I am not able to view your pictures, somehow, possible to link them again?

Planning to have a small nano tank with shrimps and moss, no filter and no lights, just office lights, since aircon is on 24hrs, its be great water temp.

Any advise pls forward to me, very new to nanos.

    Thanks.

Hmm, I noticed there's a sudden interest in nano tanks recently... cos' the LFS that I usually go seems to bring in lots and lots of nano tanks, esp the one at Yishun, AquaStar.

there's quite a few range of size to choose from, and it's selling cheap... can try your luck there.

    Hee hee...
It's been a month since I set up my shrimp tank, although the shrimps from 11 now left 4, I've got a lot of baby shrimps in there.

don't know how long it'll take them to mature.

Ah yes, Yishun LFS seems to be what i am being told too. Will have to find a day to visit the north for some tank shopping.

I just wanna pruce up my office table, am also considering getting a betta, but with the aircon, i will need a heater. Still between shrimp or betta, but betta might be more prominent and more lively.

Don't waste the money on a heater. You really don't need it. Get yourself a light set with that money!

Get PL lights, they'll heat up the water anyway.

Rivers are cold cold COLD. Even tropical ones. So... unless your tank's temp falls below... 20 - 22ish.. I wouldn't worry.
