normally we "do" conduct the test when lights are on...30ppm when lights are on is good...
not sure if Gh really concern us. but dun really hear pple measuring our Gh often..
ph and kh is enough imao
I have the following queries:
a. What is the Gh level in our tap water? What is the acceptable range in the aquarium?
b. Does one conducts water checks on Ph and Kh when the lights and CO2 are on?
c. My Ph is 6.6 and Kh is 4, which according to the CO2 table is 30ppm, an optimum level. Is it adviseable to crank up the CO2 to get "pearling"?
Tks and best regards.

a) I'd say about 1.
b) Er yes, normally when people want to know how fast their CO2 can reach to the point of 30ppm.
c) Yes, very advisible. 30ppm can be said to be the benchmark.
