    Hi folks,

Lately some of my tetras fins are showing signs of rotting... can see bubbles on their body. I did about 1/3 water change weekly. Is there an infection?

    Thanks

    Hi Larry,
It's kind of hard to diagnose without any pictures, can you describe a little more about the bubbles or stuff like that. Is there any fin nibblers in your tank or solely just Neons and Cardinals?
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

    Hi Michael,

I only have neons and cardinals in the tank.

I can see some fine bubbles on some of the neons and cardinals... a few with some rot in the tail...

    Thanks

    Hi Larry,
That description does not bode well for the fishes. I suspect it's the onslaught of infamous 'ICH' which will soon lead to Neon tetra's disease. Seek medication immediately. Waterlife-protozin or Mardel-coppersafe if they are few plants and shrimps in the tank.
