Must have been a contaminant when you bought the plant?
Spot this plant growing at the head of needle leave fern. Look like pellia (small size) version but not Mini Pellia.
Anyone happen to see this plant grow from Needle Leave fern's leave??

Is been with me about 1 yrs ++ only recently saw some grow out from the leaves.
contaminant ?? mean like X-MEN, genetic changes??

I too, got this after the fern was in the tank for closed to a year. It grow out from the very tip of some of the leafs. I removed them and tie to a wire mesh, it does not seem to grow at all. Have you got a single piece shot of it flat on a white bg? Is the shape 'Y' like pelia but without the 'bone'?
