The last one looks fantastic.. Man ur rich,to spend that much .

If I was rich, I'm definately poor now haha. I think I've spent over 400 US dollars on setting this tank up, and I don't even have a pressurized CO2 system yet. I do get discount on a lot of stuff since my friend owns a LFS, but it still adds up. I think some plants and fauna are more expensive here in the States too. Like the Yamato shrimp are 4 US dollars each. I don't think they're that expensive over there right? Anyways, thanks for the comments

Geez~ your yamatoes are really quite expensive ya. Given the same amout, you could get maybe a grade C or even a grade B crs here in Singapore
It seems not that cheap to have planted tank in the States ya?

By CRS, do you mean Cherry Red Shrimp? Those are like $11 each! There's only one shop I know of in the city that is dedicated to planted tanks and their prices are pretty high. They're the only one who carry ADA products as well. Plants are pretty expensive as well but I usually ask my friend who owns a LFS to find the ones I want at the wholesale. Overall I think the prices are higher in States since not many people are into planted tanks as overseas. Products aren't as common so they can charge more for them.

CRS-would mean Crystal Red Shrimps. Cherries would be abundance here in Singapore, you could easily get them for about(averagely) 40cents per piece. Home breeders would sell it even better price still.
I guess you've gotta be rich to be into planted when you're in the States

Definately worth the time and money staring at the tank after a hard day's work - very relaxing. I could stare at it all day watching the fishes I wasn't really planning on getting tetras but somehow just ended up buying them I'm thinking of adding a discus or two later on, but not sure if they'll match the scape ...
