i'm ADDicted to this wonderful hobby

there's ph meter and ph pen available in the market.....if you have several tanks, ph pen would be great to carry around.....if you have one tank and often monitor e ph level, a ph meter would be useful to provide ph readings 24/7.....ph pen is somewhat accurate but have to give n take due to various factors.....

A digital pH pen or meter would be much more accurate then a hobby grade chemical test kit if properly calibrated.
The hobby grade chemical test kits rely on the human eye to make comparisons with colour charts. There is a large degree of human perception error involved there. Furthurmore, environmentally lighting makes a difference in human perception. The lighting would have a different effect of the final perceived colour of a printed colour and a coloured liquid.
Most KH test kits are quite reliable. I like the one from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals. It also combines a GH test kit. Not easy to find in Singapore and it's been a long time since I went browsing in LFS.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
thanks all! I think i will invest in one Ph test pen....... wonder which brand is reliable and accurate?
Thanks!![]()
Think Hanna is the most common.
