Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
hahah havent got the lights yet :P
will get soon
actually i like snails....always thought of getting them. so thanks for those snails!
anyway found a easier and fast way to fill up water in ADA soil.
i wet the soil and drain some water first
soak overnight
then this morning i lay sponge over the soil and fill up the tank in about 2-3 min
water was clear
than remove the sponge slowly. viola!
Nice, looks like you got some inspiration from Amano. Definately needs more plants imho, esp around the driftwood area. There's lots of space! It's how you use your tweezers![]()
bro, u really need to get ur lighting soon~![]()
yeah i found out its not easy to get use the tweezers.. and plant them properly.
getting the lights today....

Haha... ok... At least he's happy with the snails... And frankly, the snails dun appear in the tank... Maybe some fish (Badis badis?) was hunting them and they are hiding well...

Oh and I noticed your substrate isn't sloped. If you're looking to create depth (I know some people don't want to, in that case it's all right), slope the substrate. You'll find it creates wonders.
Oh thanks for the tip
let me concentrate on keeping those plants alive first, then i go more into aquascaping![]()

Has growth been good so far?
i see little fresh light green ends at the taiwan moss
also parts of the riccia lawn has light green extensions.
I have been working of stuffing the tennlius and other plants i have into the soil
tennlius seems to be doing ok.
can i just use water from my newt tank to top up this nano tank?
also can i pour in some bloody water which is the water i used to soak the frozen blood worms in![]()
will provide iron and carbon and nitrate etc?
pardon my silly newbie questions![]()
best to add aged or normal tap water then for you to add those 'bloodied' ones. It will tend to contaminate the water, always use liquid or dry ferts to add nutrients, as organic ones you have no control over the exact amount
Holy is the Lord, God Almighty ! The Earth is filled with His Glory !
90 x 50 x 50 cm tank: Eheim 2217; ANS CO2 Solenoid with 60mm intense bazooka; Zetlight 6400; Teco 500 Chiller; Borneo Wild Steel inlet/outlet
Ferts: Dry Mixture/Dr Mallicks. Temp: 26 degrees Substrate: ADA Amazonia
Lol, nono don't do that. Do what philiipians said.
Come on... the amount of water you will save is insignificant. Plus the health of your tank is much more valuable.
ok ok ok
i think i just transfer some water from my newt tank then
my new tank has a internal filter by itself also.
its not about saving water cos its all in my office![]()
