ADA AquaSoil as Base Fertilizer?
Dear all,
can i use the aquasoil as base fertilizer? Currently i have one new packet of amazonia at home....dunno whether isit enuff for my 2.5ft tank? Please advise....tHanks...hehehe

Get a cheap base fertiliser like JBL to add the volume of your substrate. To just use a bag of ADA Amazonia is too thin to plant plants unless the plants are like those carpet form. JBL base fert goes in 1st into the tank and then cover it with Amazonia.

You don't need any form of base fertilizers as long as you dose the water column well. Adding base fertilizers can make replanting/uprooting of plants nasty.

Okie dokie....thanks for your advice bros....i am making some planning and research 1st before i start on my BIG project....haha...need some serious considerations and dun wan to make any more changes after that coz i kinda regretted putting in 7 bags of white sand into my tank (Rash decision)...Sianzzz...
