    There's plenty out there, but this is definitely something on top of my list..

    Would it be practical as the led light may heat up the keyboard and will not be comfortable for long use ?

    OLEDs give off very very little heat... Making them very efficient... OLEDs can be fashioned into a very thin piece of plastic... So heat is dissipated away very very quickly...

    It's OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), it won't heat up... That's part of what I am researching on now... Haha ... We just had a workshop and this company was showing us their products like wearable OLED displays (like on a tee) and OLED microwave oven pad, something like the keyboard...

    we make a large OLED piece to be stuck to the back of aquarium glass, then we can program it to display whatever background we feel like having

    I think Japan is already producing some OLED TVs ... prototype though
