    Might also want to consider coconut shells. They're cheapier than any other alternative (they're like $0.75 for each half around here).

    My driftwood has cavities in it and my apistos use it as their cave. But I am facing one problem. The male occupy one cavity and the female another, they don't seemed to be interested in each other.

    Can buy those small clay pot (1/2 of original pot) which can where use to hang on the wall, it cost $1.50. i have bought 2 pcs but have yet to use them.

    Can also get those tray which chinese use them for tea session, just chip of 1 side of the tray & it become a hiding cave. it piece cos $1.50, i got it at Chinatown.

    that why i used rescape my tank once every 2 months be4 i gave up for fish for the time being.
    Well, it helps if u stacked various DW to form new caves for the apisto. Cos if they spawn, things may get nasty.

    hey benny, the caves from starpet looks damn good....any idea of their prices? i think most apisto guys here wun mind owning one of it to try out..... maybe we can get someone/lfs to bring back from hk or japan?

    Not much processing to them at all. I just bought them from a grocery store, in the produce section, and then cut them in half and scraped the meat out.
