My 2ft Apistogramma Moss Tank

Wow, thats a lot of apistos in a 2footer bro!! so what happened to the previous 3 pairs? are they still with you? i'm planning to have 2 pairs in a 2 footer.....need to clear some stuff 1st

Yup. I still have 2 pairs in their own tank while the A. agassizii 'tefe' female just died, from too much pressure by the male I guess. So now I'm selling the male. Thinking of selling my A. sp. 'wilhelmi' pair also.

Do share when you have them in the tank...like updates on any aggression etc..but my advice is to introduce them together and not one pair first because once the earlier pair is used to the place, it will start attacking the newly introduce fish.

One of the brothers here told me that introducing a pair of slim body and broad body apistos each have little aggression.... if you put same body type/family, they are likely to be aggressive?? shi fus please correct me if this is wrong....

Update: Just set up a 2ft tank for my apistos....just exchanged my 1.5ft tank for a five-plan 2footer with one of the kind bros....there's 4 "caves", consisting clay and plastic flower pots....occupants are a pair of brietbinden, 2 female pertensis and 1 pertensis male.....after letting them settle for a while, I happy to see that my female breitbinden finally brightens up, roaming about the tank, unlike being stressed up in the previous 1ft setup....the breitbinden male doesn't chase her but flares and flapping his tail at her *good signs*..... male pertensis is forever chasing everyone as usual....hopefully the bigger male brietbinden might just show his powers soon!!!

Therefore, having Pertensis (slim body) and breitbinden (broad body) together in the same tank doesn't have any signs of aggression....got to observe for the next few days....cheers!
