I am back. however not intending to spawn them for now..

Nice looking tank! Is this from your archives or is this a recent acquisition? C328 has some Apistogramma trifasciata a few weeks ago.

currently just having a male Trifasciata, but i guess its won't be long before the collection builds up again. keke

not sure about the Guapore strain, the colour seems like mine.
Red on the dorsal tips with mixture of blue and yellow near the rear.
nice dorsal.. long.

Yeah....saw your male looks similar to mine, black lips also... don't remember my previous tris have black lips...as you can see from the pics, besides the reds in the dorsal, there some reds around the edge of the tail also. The fella really coloured up after a week in the tank.

In hk they call one strain yellow face tri...nice yellow face, electric blue on body and wine red on the dorsal!

This RVA Tri is beautiful.. the colours are so.... not tris.

well, this is due to the background n lighting i suppose cos tri do change to this coloration when they flare. Especially during sparring betweem 2 males..

Man! That's one great tri drool!
My is yellow face but the reds on the tail and the rest is no way near to this.

If I remember correctly, he bought the A. trifasciata pair last Thursday.

I have bought the last A. trifasciata male (normal) from Biotope Aquarium this evening To pair up with the female I bought last Sat.
