    as far as i know e basics are:
    caca blue
    caca double red, triple red
    gold
    orange flash
    is there albino?
    e rest cant rem liaos....gota get e experts in...hehe

    caca red dosal.
    caca super red

    BTW,caca which look like triple red but it in yellow colour, is it still consider as triple red? or is it triple yellow?

    caca yellow gold, hybrid by a japanese with an american
    caca super red
    caca triple red
    caca wild
    caca blue
    caca double red
    caca yellow
    caca orange
    caca wild with red dorsal
    caca super orange

    these are the few types i know of..

    but mostly are just colour variations right... still the same species?

    still very curious to know if there is any Abino strain of Apistogramma cacatuoides in history?

    thats something to discuss about in the thread regarding cross-breeding...and its not advised to...

    i guess there's a gold or albino variant of cacas....i think its been posted somewhere in this forum....

    i recall a picture of an "albino" caca.
    but the resident mad biologist stated that it still has melanine (spelling ok?) black pigments.
    so it isn't a true albino.
    it just has a beautifully "white" body.

    It looks cool to me....nice high red dorsal fins and a yellow face coupled with e usual cockatoo caudal.....nice nice!!!
