    Well, the Alternanthera did indeed start dropping leaves a day after we planted it; and it was probably dropping at least half a dozen leaves a day. The fern started curling up and turning brown shortly after purchase too - real disappointing. Both have been removed just now.

    Anyhows, we've just picked up two more plants from Colourful just now. One we could identify, but the second we could use some help again:



    We thought this was another Alternanthera but the stem didn't look the same. Also, this new plant's leaves has tiny jagged edges (you can see them if you look hard enough at the picture). Any idea what this should be?

    That's a Limnophila hippuroides and it's also the emersed form.
