    Hi guys,

Need your help here.....My boss is giving us a treat and thus I'm given the holy arrow of organising this lunch/dinner treat....

Need recommendation on buffet, international or mixed, below $30 for 20pax.....setting should also be good too as there'll be high ranking officer going too....

    cheers,
    Eman

If it's dinner, under S$30 is a bit difficult. Lunch is more probable. Try calling Merchant Court Hotel. They might be within your budget.

    Cheers,

I think Grand Copthorne (beside Zouk) has dinner under $30 if I did not remember wrongly... And there is a lounge beside the cafe with two pretty (& hot) ladies singing live...

Gim Tim's food are cheap and awesome. I had both my ROM lunch and wedding dinner (which is 4yrs apart) in their one of their restaruant in Yio Chu Kang.
I am quite sure you can find a decent lunch package from them. Think I saw them having a website but I can't remember the address.
PS: Try to negotiate real hard. Sometime it works

don't try Amara, their buffet is so-so, for the same price $35+++, I rather go to Pan Pacific Summer house (or is it spring), Any how, the spread at Summer house suit almost everyone and not forgetting, good food ;P

    Buffet

How about the one at Novena United Square, Vienna? I've tried it a few times, they have very nice dishes, no pork. only the seating area a bit tight, but perhaps you can make special arrangements.

another one is Pariss at Beok or Simei, I can't recall, but it's cheaper than the main branch at Takashimaya and Marina Square.

Another one that recommended by Straits Times is the one at Jurong, near Science Centre, Sushi Sakura, it's a Japanese buffet, they say they serve the most dishes compared to other average Jap buffet. wanna try but no chance to, not sure is it as good as it advertise, but advertisement sure looks tempting.

if going for lunch, i think the above can match your budget.

Hmm.. can try The Penang Place at International Business Park, The Atrium building.

else, can try Suki Sushi, I normally frequent the one at Marine Parade Central. All kinds of food, cooked and sashimis... nice!
