    Hi,

I've been reading alot on the placement of the rainbar, that is, at the bottom back or something like that. Where exactly will this place be? Is it the back piece of glass of the tank or the side piece of glass of the tank?

Let say my intake is placed at the right hand bottom corner, and the rainbar is placed on the bottom of the left piece of glass, will the circulation of the water be good? btw, I'm using a 2028 in a 4x2x2 tank.

    Thanks,

That's exactly what I'm doing now!
    So far so good!
But would like to try placing the rainbar vertically at the back of the tank during the next rescape!

You can also place it on the same side of the inlet. This would create better circulation and less dead water areas.

I am now having a 2ft rain bar placed at the rear bottom of a 4ft tank facing towards the front, using a 2028 filter. I am trying Co2 Mist method. So far so good, co2 distribute evenly in the tank. However, as my tank is heavily planted, I observed that water circulation was not that good near the water surface. I then added a small pump for surface movement.

If your tank is not so heavily planted, any method mentioned by the guys above is good enough.

thanks for all who replied. Do you all think that having 2x2028 an overkill for a 4x2x2 tank?

Hmm... Would say that 1 x 2028 would be enough for a 4ft tank but if can have 2 x 2028, why not? One of the filters could serve purely as a biological filter.
