4mm is less than 0.5cm, which seems a little too tiny!?!?!
Yes, Parambassis sp., don't know which though. One of my favourite fishes.
Anyone able to I.D the following fauna? It's about 4mm only.

probably a little more tha 4mm, but where did you get the fish?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I thought I have seen a different Parambassis sp at Ben's before, one that looks a bit different from this. Bah... memory is failing me... about time to pay Ben a visit.
According to the PF article, there are 3 common species being sold at LFS and the main diff is size.
P. lala ~ 3cm, P. ranga ~ 6~7cm and P. siamensis is btw the two, fully grown about 5cm.
My mistake.
It's less than 4cm, not mm, It is about roughly about 2.5cm I bought them (4) at the LFS at my place.

I have 6 bought from Ben. Have been asking him to bring in more but so far he has only brought in the more expensive species and not lala.
The LFS at my place has it,

0.50cents for 1, if I can remember clearly. Ask for 'glass fish' the boss will know.

Thanks Grey Fox.
Can you confirm if they still have them as I would like to go over and get some if they still have them.
Will have it checked out for you tonight to confirm.
Cheers!
