Hi Hoppinghippo! The adult male Sturisomatichtys Leightoni aka Dwarf Royal Twig Catfish or Dwarf Royal Farlowella has cheek bristles and the female don't ( clean cut ! ).----------------

Our LFS usually sell the Juv. one, hence very very diff. to make out the difference ! well ! no choice lah ! have to buy a few ! ( that what I did ! ). Cheers [
