Comparing these 2 products, are they the same just that root monster comes in cone shape whereas Base + Base booster comes in individual spheres??

Do you guys take out the root monster after one year?

I today took out a root monster placed few years ago. Shape still in contact, never rot or decompose though

When stuffing the root monster into the gravel, you guys force it in or use your finger to dig a hole first before putting it in?

Because to me, i think forcing the root monster in will case the gravel to be tighter and possibly scrap the silicon lining and causing leakage. Whereas if you dig a hole gently and place it in, it's safer. Care to share on what method you use and your views? Thanks

Not too sure of the difference. I have only used Root Monsters before.

What I do it is use my finger and force the RM into the gravel. Believe that Root Monsters are designed to not break up so easily.

hmm or rather, i'm afraid forcing the RM into the gravel will scrapped off the silicon lining causing leakage though compared to digging a hole and then cover up

hmmm...i dun think it will be so drastic bro, unless u are saying that ur gravel are damn solid packed..there are definitly gaps between gravels, so forcing the rootmonster down will just cause the gravel to get packed a bit, and only in that specific area....won't be that drastic as in scrapped off the silicon...

and rootmonsters is a slow realeasing base fert, on the box put can last 12months plus...hmm..urs is still intact...interesting....

yup i put one ago 2-3 years ago still intact. According to the product, the corn doesn't integrate with time. It will retain its shape. That's the bad point. Coz got to remove it otherwise takes up space in the subtrate after many years
