    ...thought I'd post an update of how my tank has come along.

    Apart from a nagging battle with algae, I had to fight off a mild case of collectivitis. My humble tank:

    i actually enjoyed the open patch of area you had in your starting out tank.. which is now gone..

    what is that black casing with orange wire hanging on the left side of the tank?

    Hey Betta. Pretty sharp. Was wondering if anyone would make a comment.

    Black casing is an internal filter, used as a powerhead.

    Orange hose is for the C02. The lfs didn't have the clear, hard hose, therefore ended up with this funky coloured one. Besides, my wife likes the colour...sigh.
