great pictures as usual, Mervin. Out of curiosity, was this set taken with the 20D also? Pictures look a little different, not as soft as the previous set. Er..you don't work at the BirdPark right?
PS: I'm not very good with cameras, trying to learn and saving to buy one.

The pictures of this bird super sharp, the Pitta has a surreal or dream like texture although the definition is still there....not sure am I saying this correct or not. Just feel this way..

oh......i see....
ok, the pitta was taken under poor lighting and was heavily cropped while these were taken under rather good lights and was marginally cropped.
the bigger the subject in the orginal frame then the better the "quailty".

Great shots Mervin. I didn't know so many types of birds can be seen here if not for your postings.
And some more can catch them in action catching prey.
