    mmm… considering the veins, I say C. griffithii
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    it could well be wendtii tropica. Where did you get the plant from, might give a better clue.

    Well damn. Is wenditi supposed to be in a local stream? That's essentially where i found it. Pretty far up too. So i doubt someone tossed it out his window...

    if its where i think you collected it, it could be any sp, not limiting to local.

    griffithii has several growth form in the few locations that i observed tho.

    Environment factor in general. temperature, soil composition, light intensity, water temperature, flow rate etc.

    There is more than just local griffithii.. there is ciliata, ponterderiifolia, lingua and perhaps wendtii i have seen too. Yours could be griffithii Shannon.

    A little out of topic, sorry guys. Yes, i did.. no worries. Anyway it is not easy to id crypts unless you could see the spathe. But of course there are certain spp that you could definitely tell them apart.
