Should have hiding spaces, the 1ft tank is mostly moss. Also have covered my internal filter with "pantyhose" like material last weekend before I found out the pregnant CRS... as I do find cherry shrimplets once in a while when cleaning the sponge.![]()

hi.. is it possible to breed a grade b or a or s from a grade c??

To make sure the new born survive, i suggest you separate the pregnant female from the rest in a breeder net.Originally Posted by baranne

By selective breeding I think it is possible...but will take a long time.Originally Posted by planted86

Do you need to separate it into a breeder net? I thought with sufficient hiding places it would be fine to leave it there.Originally Posted by kensk

Best to leave them alone and stick to your usual routine... unless you have shrimp eating fishies... My friend has a tankful of CRS babies by simply ignoring them... Just take precautions when you change the water... Afterall, the shrimps like it the way it is now, that's why they spawn...

Thomas, thanks for the advise. I am leaving them alone as it is right now. would not want to do anything to it in case I disrupt the current environment... only topping up water...Originally Posted by Justikanz

I just saw a page this afternoon regarding the incubation period for an CRS depending on the temperature.. based on the calculation, I hope to see some babies in about 2-3 weeks time...![]()
