looks like emersed Hygrophila difformis.
Can anyone tell me what this is? It's the emersed form and I suspect it to be a form of Hygrophila but I'm unsure. Many thanks.

The first one certainly looks like H. difformis.
I suspect the second might be Ludwigia repens

The first one is Hygrophila difformis. My neighbour has it growing out of his tank in his garden
Wow! Is it a pond or a tank with low water level? Must have a pretty strong stem to support the part that it above the waterline.
The plants pictured are in their emersed form. Many aquarium plants have both a submerged form as well as an emergent growth form.
It was actually hanging out from the tank.Originally Posted by FishFan
