Yup saw this cool regulator at C328 2-3 weeks ago. Price like Benny say it's very good for a small and cool regulator. It's placed near the counter![]()
Hi guys,
Just saw the new CO2 regulator from UP, the Taiwanese brand.
It comes with a solonoid and has very good finishing. Given the size, it's suitable for nano tanks setup too! Now, the CO2 equipment need not be hidden from view anymore since it looks so good!!
Here's a better picture for comparison of sizes.
Show with 1 standard can drink and a 15 X 15 X 15 cm cube tank set.
Those intersted can find out more from www.up-aqua.com and the model number is A-099. This unit is not officially imported by Adec, it's Singapore agent yet. However, those interested can go check it out at C328 at Clementi Ave 2. They should still have a few sets.![]()
As for prices, it should be cheaper than the recent Dymax version. Expect to pay just under S$100 for this cool stainless steel look. CO2 cylinder sold separately.
Cheers,
p.s. If you are going to ask the clueless staff at C328, tell them you are looking for A99 from Up brand!
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

benny.. that canister is sick.. always got such goodies..![]()
the problem is, refilling one of these costs the same as a refill for a 3 litre tank I believe.
Beauty has a price tag you know.Originally Posted by loupgarou

Yup!
Saw it @ C328 during my visit on Monday!
Jus like to add, a similar 1L cylinder is selling at $158!
Its about twice the height of the one in the pictures!
So the whole set will set you back close to $200 if not more!
Enough to buy a 5L cylinder with JBJ solenoid from NA!
Beauty indeed has a hefty price to pay!
Lovely set! Very tempting..

Yep, I was there yesterday to check things out.
The Clementi Uncle showed this set to me and said it would fit my Dymax set. It costs $90 plus but I saw only one gauge instead of 2. So how would you know if the top-up uncle doesn't short change you by giving you less gas?
But I was there not to get a solenoid but the Sera Florena liquid fertilisers, which for some reason, cannot be found elsewhere.![]()
May i ask whether the co2 regulator is suitable for all cylinder sizes?
Who made up all these rules?
We follow 'em like fools.
Believe 'em to be true.
Don't care to think 'em through.
How can I buy this co2 set in the United States? I am willing to pay someone from Singapore to buy this co2 set for me and send it to the united states. Please help me out. I really like the co2 system. It's very modern and beautiful.
You might have voltage problems with this. We run our appliances at 220V. I think you guys run on 110V?
Call me Brian.
P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
Is there any way of solving the voltage problem? You guys have such great items over there. The U.S is so behind in planted aquarium equipments. Wait, the co2 system needs to be plugged in to an outlet? I used to have a co2 setup, but i do not remember having to plug anything in to an outlet? I am a little confused about this system.
It has a solenoid which is an electrical on/off valve which allows you to on and off the supply of CO2 at fixed intervals with the use of a timer... Hence the need to plug into an outlet...
can i not use the solenoid? Therefore, i will not have electrical problems. Anyone in Singapore willing to buy me one of these system and send it to me in the U.S.A. I will pay for your labor, the system, and any shipping charges. Please help me out.
