Did it break during transportation? If so, you might be able to claim it from insurance, either through the carrier or though your purchase protection plan with your credit card company. Good luck!
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
pardon my ignorance. Any bros here can advise me what's the Lily pipe for? thanks in advance
April fools question maybe... A common name given to the pipes take water from / to the tank, most often these are made of plastic [green] and consequently become visible in the tank. Class Lillie pipes are more fragile, but when clean are almost invisible.
Hi Jumanji,
Don't throw it away yet.![]()
It still can be fix....! Have you consider using a Ehiem curve tube those use for attaching rainbar. Cut the bent portion of the Ehiem tube and with a couple of rubber hose plug into both end of the broken ADA lily pipe (careful with broken glasses).
The only cons is the green colour of the Ehiem tube and the transparent ADA tube mix, that spolit the look other then that it is still usable.
It's still the output of the curve thats doing the work and not the stem.!!!!![]()
bro,
i really dunno. paiseh
but after your explanation, finally enlighten liao!
thanks
realised it's such simple product but given such colourful name![]()

Hi guys.
Thanks for your wonderful ideas.
Had the lilies for about a year or so already. Was trying to clean it up one nite when I accidently smashed it hard on the sink! The feeling was like crying and banging my head on the wall for being so careless when i saw it turn into pieces. The trusty old Eheim connectors have since took over lilie's place.
The funny thing is East Ocean doesnt bring in the long flexible brush that is meant to be use to clean the inner 'neck' of the lily which i had to resort to my own ways to clean them. Well...just not my luck...![]()
You can alway use the Eheim one that is commonly sold everywhere.Originally Posted by Jumanji

You could still salvage the output part of the lily pipes and connect it to another tube. But be careful of the glass as the sharp edges may injury you or may break off and dropped off into the tank.
rtcc86 and kemp, the lily pipe shown is an outlet part made of glass. The mouth of this part will create a 'diffused' water flow coming out from it.

so its like a rainbar???Originally Posted by BFG
Nope, you can't compare it to a rainbar. Instead of shooting out water like a jet from a point source outlet, the extra funnel 'cup' act as a turbulence mechanism that's swirl the water that exit from it.

Silicon the sharp edges and attached it to a pipe?
