    Hello,

Heres re-scape after few years of idling :

The setup is just 2 days old. The substrate is rejuvenated with JBL clay-balls but very much still with the same bio-loading all these years. The Echinodorus tenellus, Sagittaria subulata and Nymphaea maculata (Red Tiger Lotus) are of the same stock 5 year ago. Newly added plants are some cryptos, Microsorum 'Windeløv', some Xmas moss on the wood,...

Here's how the tank looked like in its 2001's glory day.

And then it went auto-pilot in low maintenance mode (picture taken last December) till recently before the rescaping :

Same view angle, after the rescape :

Somehow it looks a bit unbalanced, may be when the red lotus grow larger will balance the scene much better. Appreciate coments/suggestion.

Bro, I still like your second setup. Maybe, that's because I didn't have a liking for windelov.

The last picture has a nice flow to it. Good work! The lotus will have to be kept like this.

Nice island scape, very artistic, better when the windelov becomes a big bush.
Nice photo with big-size cardinals schooling.

Really interesting to see how this tank evolved throughout the years.

I love them all, especially your curtain of Vals (or are they Sag?)

    Hi Koah Fong

Long time no talk ! You've been doing well ! (AQ Moderator !).

ADA 2006 ? Too early for me. Need some more time to run-in and peak the growth. Beside, ADA is too high for my standard. Might have to also upgrade my camera.

    Hi Dennis,

I think the new scape looks good.

Don't be shy about submitting for ADA. It's free and you get to have a book with all the contest entries for future reference too. Do consider.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Don't be so humble. Just send us the entry and we submit for you. It's free.
With your submission, it will raise the ADA standard.
Try to use the max resolution with your camera or let us know if you need any help.

Some minor re-org after 3 weeks - shifting the crypto around. Do you think is better this way ?

    Before :

    After :

Should I trim the windelov further ?
ALso need to add some more mass to the right to form the triangle view.

Did you send for ADA06? Looks good... But I would think the vallis saggis would be better if they are either longer or replaced with the nana version... Just my personal thoughts...
