You have to give a better side profile shot. Most of us here are relatively new and will need the side profile to reference literature. Alternatively, drop a post a www.apistogramma.com and see if Mike Wise can ID it. He's very good.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
i used to have a pair like that. Male can get pretty big and very territorial when he got his partner in spawning mood. Best part of them is that they are very productive.

Right...will try to get the side profile done tonight. Should be fun practicing with my digicam.Originally Posted by benny
As for productiveness, this is the first time they are doing it in 2 months. Currently housed in a 1ft cube with about 4 pieces of Poecilocharax weitzmani. Think i gotta catch em out.... they look rather fierce.. think the female will have a real tough time protecting the fries. The male looks quite slack so far, leaving the female to do the chasing.
On another note, anyone here wanna adopt my weitzmani?
abt 2-3cm each.

Hi Ben,
I don't mind adopting them. Were those we got from CS ?

yup. caught 3 of them from the apisto tank. dunno if the other 2 are still alive and hiding elsewhere. I'll wait for the female apisto to chase them out.Originally Posted by Wackytpt
