Freddy, could you post some picture of what is left with the lighting product?
Take my advice: Don't get one of those. They look fine. But the build quality, especially when it comes down to details, is bad. (Don't get me started on how a $50 lamp should look like.)
Some of the negatives:
- After a few weeks the acrylic glass gets dull.
- The silver reflector is painted on the OUTSIDE of the casing. After a few weeks there will be cracks in the paint.
- The plastics are silver, except for the screw which is white and PAINTED silver to match the rest. The paint will come off after a few weeks, earning you paint flakes in the tank. I can't even begin to speculate why, of all things, they painted the only thing that comes in contact with water.
- The clamp construction is not really well laid out, it closes a water bridge. Not enough to make your tank leak, but you'll notice water drops on the outside.
- The power converter gets REALLY hot (as in "burn your fingers hot"!)
If all of that doesn't bother you, you're fine. I got mine because at the time I didn't have any alternative, and still I got rid of it after a few months. You have alternatives you can choose, take my advice and do so.
Cheers

If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
