The above is my current set up...... it is relatively sound but a few areas of concern which i hope some bros can advise:

    1) i have an area of turbulence in the middle of the tank due to the output flow as indicated by the yellow sphere in the diagram. How do i best remove this area.... cos i see particles and leave bits hanging around there for quite a while....

    2) my chilled and Co2-ed water from the lower back of the tank out put via rainbars are blocked by the various hardscape...the dw and rock.....so i do not think my foreground gets much co2.....how do i circumvent this?

    3) should i put all the pipes bringing returning water from the 2028s on one side and the suction to the filters on the other side? I am thinking of retaining the rear lower rainbar setup for the chilled/co2-ed water....

    Any comments?
    Thanks!

I can't really offer much advice, except that maybe you should try altering the direction of of inflow and outflow pipes to deal with the area of turbulence.

But man, that's a kick-*** tank!

Redirect Eheim 2028 #2 output to point along the back wall (facing Eheim 2028 #1 output)?

hmm... wouldn't that create a sort of whirl pool around the whole tank? hmmmm come to think of it.... kinda think it might just work! But need to go buy some tubes and connectors to direct the flow in that way cos dun think the eheim U-outflow tube can twist until like that

    Hey vratenza.

Don't know if this might help or not. With regards to your waterflow, I have a thread on this and so far my layout of everything is rather fine and circulation of CO2 + water is good.

No mini-whirlpools at all, if this is what you are seeking. And also knowing that you have discus in your tank and they need gentler waters, my layout is gentle enough for them to swim around without getting "blown" by the current, not forgetting the important surface movement that is needed.

Hopefully this will help you out
