maybe can break it up into several pieces and scatter around the tank. At least the rest will get some opportunity to get a piece for itself.
i usually break them into pieces, placed in different spots, hope that every cherries of mine have a fair share.
dont worry about some might not able to feast on it, bet they have a strong planted survivor skills!
tried 'spoon-feeding' wafer pieces to my cherries, they are not human shy, some even feed on it on my hands, coolz! can try![]()
as for boiling 'veges', kind of lazy about it! apart from wafers, i do feed them bloodworm too.
hope someone be able to clear your doubts.

Bloodworm? But if the bloodworms are kept in the freezer they will float right?
defroze them before feeding. Most will sink![]()
Ya the little guys really love blood worms. I feed them with boiled spinach before, just put in boiling water for 2mins will do.
You don't really have to cook it, just place it inside boiling water for a while and it should be ok. I've heard of people feeding with carrots as well.

are there any advantages by feeding them veges?!?! i suppose panaria dun feed on them, maybe one of the reason.
do your clear the leftover veges after the shrimps have taken their shares?!?!
how about other veges? potatos or carrots?
I guess it is always safer to clear the leftover before it turns bad/declay.
cheers,![]()

Tried carrrots, boil them for couple of minutes! but cherries don't seems to have a liking on it.

That's strange. I tried putting in boiled spinach in my tank before and the shrimps love it. Maybe you should try boiling longer?Originally Posted by ahkarboy
