    Hi Leonard,
    Nice set-up, I think you are heading in the right direction. I'll lose the nanas and retie with moss on the DW. Maybe some bolbitis on the left background to give the tank more depth. You can shift the hygrophilia polysperma to the right to achieve a crescent effect. Your fore ground will be overrun in a month's time might want to change to E. tellenusn for a more balance look. Sorry, 1 last thing I think you are trying too many types of background plants, might want to cut down on that. My 2 cents, have fun.
    Those fishes at the surface is not a good sign, might want to check on that.
    Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

    Hi leonard;
    not a bad setup, but u gonna conceal ur filter and the white piping. agree that a moss replacement on your DW be better. and the nanas be on the mid-foreground surrounding the DW be nice. Considering other plants for ur foreground, Glosso?!?!

    your fishes doesnt seems to fit in your planted setup.

    Thanks for all the suggestions...

    FYI I'm not using CO2 or base fert that why I didn't use glosso... love to try that... I have had bad experience with moss That's why I tied the nana... as for the background I just bought too much much...

    E. tellenusn is what plant?

    not using CO2, erm wats ur lightings?! maybe can try investing one, promoting the growth!
    as for moss, they are pretty easy plant, low temp is one of the requirement!

    without base fert is also alright, just invest in those stick fert ie:Root monster, stick them into the gravel near ur plants.

    as for e.Tenellus, here is the pic

    i feeel that the DW looks great, just that lose those nanas. I ll rather tie some narrow leaf java at the tip to make it look like a tree and also for the leaves to reach the top and then give it more depth. just a suggestion

    imho, i think the nanas are nice..

    but those near the centre with their stems exposed are less nice...
    if there's a way to tie them such that their stems are hidden (like those nice nanas around the highest point on the DW), it'll be beautiful i think ...

    btw Eddy, nanas can grow in stronger lighting too... won't melt..
    just that they can also grow in the shade albeit slower..
