    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the pictures. I have checked from the internet that Redline Torpedo belongs to the family of bards. Is is correct ? If so, can they be kept in a community tank with the Cardinal Tetras ?

    Thks

I wouldn't advise it, Daniel. They can grow quite big, they will do best in a large aquarium probably with other species of barbs or larger rasboras.

Actually they do fine with cardinals.. the tank just gotta be a little bigger thats all since they can grow relatively large.

Agree. I have no problem housing my smaller fishes like cardinal tetra, ember tetra, and even those tiny boraras with my 4in redline torpedo barb. Basically just need a bigger tank.

ive never had a problem with denisoni only from my wife she dosn't like them,
when they had the first imports of these fish in the UK the very first imports were not denisoni instead they sent chalakudeinsis which are very different in thier attitude to other fish. btw choy if the spelling is wrong i wrote it as it sounds.

Puntius denisonii in my faint memory...
I've heard they cost quite a bit in Europe. Is that true?

It's true, where I shop is one of the main importers of them so the price there is cheaper than anywhere else. S$30, in other places it's 45 dollars, but i suppose if you want them you pay the price.
