Whilst it's no doubt that the coloration is impressive and looking very metallic, somehow, the head reminds me of the local hybrid "steel blue". A terrible comparison.

This fish is also known as Algodon II.
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

This fish belongs to the Pebas complex and there are all kinds of variety and names... anyhow, it does look very very beautiful to me and i love it![]()
