    Came across this from other forum, noted that this is yellow crystal shrimp. Is this a new breed?!?!

    Any LFS selling?

    The truth about "breeds" is that anyone with basic knowledge of animal husbandry can isolate a mutation, give it a few generations to establish itself and then slap a price tag on it.

    If you want I'll create a "breed" or striped trumpet snails right now

    Though to be honest, finding a malayan that transparent and breeding it must've taken considerable effort. Or blind luck.

    eh, most of my malayans are that kind of beign translucent colour leh. I don't know why they seem to stop colouring up for me any more

    Really? Mine are all black with a white stripe down the middle.... And yes I'm very sure they aren't woodshrimp.

    Mine come in different color variations, some speckled black, some black, some dark blue, some yellow. Probably the diet?

    And yes, that looks like a malayan to me too.

    never kept malayan before, dont know they have this kind of 'transformation'!
