    Hey taz,

One of my blackwidows had that too, not one but on both eyes. I initially wanted to catch the bugger and throw it away, however with the tank size of mine that was impossible. So two weeks went by, and its eyes went back to its normal size and shape, all by itself! Just so that you know, pop-eye is a contagious disease.

What I suspect that helped cure the pop eye was the weekly 50-60% water change that I did. So far there's no more relaspe and none of the other fishes are affected.

Hope this helps, maybe someone else can give a better solution. Mine seemed to work for me.

Popeye is caused by a bacterial infection... I'd imagine food that's high in vitamins and a stress free environment would help the fish recover.

usually i will isolate them in a container (dose with salt). Change of water everyday and try not to feed. Hope it helps.

what ive always done with popeye is a 50% water change and dose your tank with any anti-bacterial cure that you buy over the counter, what i think is the main cause of this is stress and bad water management, usually a very easy thing to cure with no losses.
