The Good and Bad News

Guys, the good news! got eggs in my community tank
They are small whitish eggs located near the bottom
bad news is i have absolutely no idea
And the worse news is my tank is a VERY community tank. List of participants in the 2ft tanks are
4 mickey mouse platy
5 harlequin hasbora
4 black phantom tetra
6 red eye tetra
5 neon + 5 cardinal
3 guppies
3 bumblebee goby
1 angelfish (still juvenile stage)
1 glowlight tetra
3 cherry barb
5 corys (2 skunk, 1 albino, 1 ordinary black one, 1 panda)
2 otos

Since it's located bottom, have the feeling it's cory. Or maybe not?

any snails in your tank. it sounds a bit crowded for a 2 ft.

yah i knew it's kinda crowded. but it's too late to do anything. cant have another tank, at least nt yet. snails? nt really. my puffer took care of them quite well.

Let's see....

Platy and guppies are not the culprit. They are livebearers. Lone angelfish.....possible, but since you said it was a juvenile...

Tetras are egg scatterers. No them either.

My guess, cories, oto or gobies. Any more clues you can give us? Like size of eggs, or any fish looking particular swollen in the last few days?

hmmm, never really noticed any bulge in the fishes recently. Even if i go take a very good look now, chances are they have already released the eggs and had gone back to the normal size already. Anyway, do i have to scoop the eggs ou and put them in another tanK?

Yes, you should. Unless you intend for them to be fish food. Also, in the case if they might be snail's eggs, you solve yourself alot of problem catching them when they grow out.

Most of e eggs have hatched. From the way the fry swims, i can almost guarantee it's cory. And its mum is my panda cory, just wondering who is/are the father(s). Hopefully this hybrid will be attractive~~
