I was just looking at them this morning in Hong Kong. Anyway, these were previously available here too, but not the most popular of dwarf cichlids.

    Cheers,

p.s. Eman, if the pictures are from another source, it would be at the least polite to cite the author or the original link. Otherwise, it's copyright infringement.
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Hi Eman, good to hear you are venturing beyond the regular strain of apistos. That's very fast!
I've had a pair. Rather difficult to keep and breed.
To me, this fish belongs to the 'acquired taste' type.
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

The nickname of it in cantonese is "Green Jewel",
and it is available in some stores in HK from time to time.
As yorky said, it's very difficult to breed (not just for spawning,
but also the difficulty in raising the fry: owing to the very small
mouth of the fry, bbs is still too big for them!!)
I keep plecos and dwarf cichlids

Well, I had it from Pet Safari some time back as well as from HK.
    Price-wise, it varies.
But should be around S$80 a pair onwards.
