    mine seems fine... i have 100 malayan shrimp, 20 cherry in my discus tank... but i feed my discus 2X a day with beef heart...

    may i know how big is your shrimp & discus..do the shrimps have place to hide?

    got big got small... right now the smallest shrimp i have in my tank is cherry... around 1.5cm i think... alot of place fro them to hide...

    i have my juvenile discus inside the plant tank, when i put the small shrimp ,next day all got..think no place for them to hide..

    lol.... but i feed quite alot to my discus and they don't seems to like shrimps... i tried mysis shrimps, brine shrimps and even freshwater shrimps( those that use to feed luo han) they will just ignore it...

    well, unless you've a large enough tank with lots of hiding places, i guess i'll not advise mixing shrimps with discus. Even if you do, i guess you'll pretty much find your shrimps hiding themselves away, then there's pretty much no point in keeping them.

    i used to have wood shrimps in my tank even they ended in my discus mouth

    discus food...

    discus should love shrimps... even the market prawns...
