Got this trio from Serangoon North this afternoon.

Kinda of hard getting a proper pic, but couldn't wait to ask for help to confirm their id. Had to shoot true the holding netting.
Decided to get them after my female aga, lost her battle with dropsy.

Yeah got it from one of the LFS there.
Someone posted the name here before, I'll try to find it & put it here.

They only had 2 tanks, one was of juv cacas.
I got this from the other tank, which he said was different from the cacas.
I suspected they were agas, but I wasn't too sure.
But they looked kinda of cute & I ended up getting a trio instead of just 2.
Think will take a while before I can differentiate & sex them.

I noticed that 2 of them, when they turn a lighter shade, this black spot appears in the middle of their bodies.

Very much like this pic that lwm999 posted in his thread

update of the 3 juv apistos.
I think one of them looks like an aga.
But the other 2 I'm not sure, don't recognise them.
I'll try to get some more pics.
But my tank, its like a jungle, hope to be able to spot them somehow.

Quite exciting, buying fish without knowing what species, then trying to figure it out as they grow. Don't know if some will consider this foolish. haha

Ok they are now with the rest of the fish in my tank.
Funny, the adult male aga, doesn't really seem to bother them too much, maybe he considers them no thread.

Managed to get a pic of 2 of them.
I still have no clue what they are, though one does seem like a tri.

How many apistos do you have in your tank now?
Seems like you have bought lots of female. You also bought female cacas from biotope right?

The female cacas for my office tank didn't last very long.

Got a yellow flash caca female from biotope for my dad's tank, which has a male, that one is looking good, nice colours.

at the moment have the male aga I got from u, he's still looking good.
plus these 3 smaller fellas (still no firm ideas what they are) in my own tank.
